Present in our midst, Jesus, who called us, continues to gather us. It is He Who is the life and the center of our fraternal community.
This requires a pooling and a sharing of all our goods, God-given “talents”, our strengths, our time, and all that we are. This supposes also times and places suitable for exchange in building the community.
For Saint Augustine, the community is a family which builds itself through the collaboration of all.
The family life is supported by our membership in our Monastery of Profession, which we freely selected at the time of our entry and in which we remain all our life with stability and by the Prioress whose mission is to help Sisters to become more and more the Body of Christ.
To this end, the places and the moments of solitude and silence are conditions for a better presence vis-a-vis God and our brethren. Knowing that we are continuously received by the God of mercy, we try to witness it to one another.
