General Introduction - Mother Yvonne-Aimée of Jesus (here pray through her intercession)

Mother Yvonne-Aimée was born in 1901 in Cossé en Champagne in Mayenne.
Entered, in 1927, the Augustinian Monastery of Malestroit, she became the Superior in 1935.
She founded the Federation of the Augustinian Monasteries in 1946 and was elected its first Superior General.
On February 3, 1951, she died in Malestroit at the age of 49.

O Jesus, King of Love, I Trust in Your Merciful Kindness. .
In 1928, she launched a project of a modern private hospital which opened its doors in 1929.

“Life charged her with increasing burdens, for the relief of others. In the worst of events, she remained encouraging, energetic, stimulating, always and for all, simply and without pretention.
All this testifies to an extraordinary, and extraordinarily efficacious love. “ “

Decorated by General de Gaulle in 1945 for having hidden and looked after in the private hospital soldiers and resistance fighters during the war of 1939-45.
